Dionysos Dancers

Dionysos Dancers of the Hellenic Canadian Community of Edmonton and Region have been celebrating Greek culture since 1982, performing at festivals and events across Canada. Through Greek folk dance, we keep the spirit of tradition alive, connecting past, present, and future on the dance floor.

 

Our performances celebrate the diverse regions of Greece, showcasing traditional and modern dances, costumes, and music from across the country. Each performance is a journey through Greek culture, highlighting the unique traditions, stories, and heritage of different communities.

What We Do

• Perform at community events like Apokries, Greek Fest, and Independence Day celebrations

• Bring the energy of Greek dance to weddings, social gatherings, and cultural events

• Offer workshops and training for new and experienced dancers

• Travel to cities such as Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, and Victoria for cultural exchanges, performances, and learning opportunities with other Greek dance groups
